Waiting on You

At first glance, Waiting on You captures the familiar rhythm of bustling street cafés—waiters weaving effortlessly between tables, conversations rising and falling in the open air. Yet beneath this everyday scene lies a quieter narrative.

The title invites a double meaning. While the waiters are literally waiting on their guests, there is also a glimpse from an upstairs window a woman looking out- is she waiting for someone to arrive, or simply viewing the street scene.

Each figure is absorbed in their own story: a meal about to begin, a conversation yet to unfold, a journey into the distance, a pause in the day's pace.
