COMMISSIONED ART
The watching spectators - First Picture - Donated handpainted oil of Harlow Cricket Grounds & Pavilion To Celebrate 250 years of the Club's Existence. Steve has a long association with Harlow Cricket Club.
These two oil commission pieces show the scope of Steve's skill in creating in different topic areas for commissions.
I wanted to share this lovely portrait Steve did of Harry Billinge. We didn't actually know him - but Peachman managed to track him down before he died. He and his family were over the moon with gifted oil painting. Steve felt so honoured to have spoken to him.
Harry Billinge MBE (15 September 1925 – 5 April 2022)
This is the second in the series of a set of oil paintings set out to commemorate Harlow Cricket Club's 250th anniversary. Featuring three bowlers
The three balls read Accuracy, Hostility and Aggression. The wording and logo like the rest of the picture has all been hand-painted in oils. Steve's image is under the Aggression Ball - this is the first self portrait he has tried. This piece reflects his love of Cricket and in particular his love of bowling. Cricket has been a big passion for Steve and was something that he says kept him out of trouble when he was younger.
