Inside The Lock Up— are secrets.

A space woven with mysteries, resolved crimes, and the quiet aftermath of commercialised investigations. Stories once urgent now sleep in stillness.

The walls breathe with both life and neglect. Ivy clings and climbs, reclaiming what was once controlled.  The Director’s chair vacant next to a clapperboard.  The final brushstrokes finished in the light radiating at full beam.

Each vehicle stands as an icon of a past detective drama, each having played its part on our screens, now paused in permanent reflection. One side leans into the legacy of UK detective series, the other into the bold energy of US crime solving productions—an electric divide. 

The space unfolds a memory made physical. Vehicles the relics from another age. Each one driven in fast… and never driven out.

There is an echo here—not loud, but persistent. A quiet reverberation that once captivated a nation of minds. What once gleamed under studio lights now rests in softened decay, but is still gently held in nostalgia.

Graffiti blooms across walls—bright, raw, symbolic. 2 Banksy’s in oil are hidden amongst the graffiti. The Statue of Liberty holds out its flame.  

Inside the warehouse are stories:-
Secrets of detectives.
Secrets of storytellers.  Secrets of eras past - identifiable in each exact matching of vehicles to detective series in the last forty years. 

And here, in The Lock Up, they are no longer hidden—they are waiting.  Private Investigations pending.
